Blueface’s breakthrough hit “Thotiana” breaks into the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart with a 13-10 jump on the chart dated Feb. 16.

The song’s ascent comes largely from streaming gains from the proven Internet favorite. “Thotiana” holds at No. 8 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart, where it debuted on the Feb. 9 chart, but increases its haul to 25 million U.S. clicks in the week ending Feb. 7, according Nielsen Music, up 12 percent from the prior period.

While streams do the heavy lifting for the song, both digital sales and radio airplay are beginning to show signs of life. “Thotiana” debuts at No. 17 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart and records 4,000 downloads sold in the week ending Feb. 7. It concurrently opens at No. 45 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, with 3.6 million in format audience in the week ending Feb. 10, per Nielsen Music.

Moreover, “Thotiana” makes inroads on other radio chart rankings. It starts at No. 22 on Rap Airplay and moves 35-31 on Rhythmic Songs, pulling a 51 percent surge in plays in the week on the latter listing.

In addition, Blueface’s hit single is also closing in on the top 10 of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The cut lifts 14-11 and boasts an 18 percent gain in activity for the week. The track crosses a milestone on the Billboard Hot 100, lifting 28-20 to reach the top 20 for the first time.

The “Thotiana” gains also generate improved standing for its parent album, Famous Cryp. The album, released last June, pushes 39-23 in its second week on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It earned 14,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Feb. 7, up 28 percent from the previous frame.
